My Story

Hi there! I'm Andrea, founder and owner of Andrea Elizabeth Designs, an Interior Decorating and Design Studio!  I'm so happy you are here and I'd love to share more about me with you. I am a Michigan girl, born and raised.  I've always had a passion for business with a strong feeling that some day I would own my own.  I bopped around in different direct sale's businesses since college, always loving the independence and creativity it brought me.  In 2010 I started working for my dad's information and technology company.  I quickly worked my way into a director position.  It wasn't necessarily the field I wanted to be in but I knew I was good at both managing projects and people. 

In 2012 I married my college sweetheart, Justin. We are settling in the Clarkston area, with two beautiful girls who have quickly became my daily focus. 

Still in the back of my mind, I knew I wanted something for myself.  My dear friend, Meagan McPhail, founder and owner of Mitten Weddings and Events kept urging me to take my love for decor into a business.  Previously, to keep my creative mind busy, I started a Social Instagram account with my sister, to share decor and lifestyle ideas.  It instantly became a success and so much fun for me.  With encouragement from my husband and friends and family, I realized now was the time. In May 2021 I decided to open Andrea Elizabeth Designs. 

My passion and love for designing creative, beautiful and bright spaces is now everything I dreamed it could be.  I'm eager to continue enhancing my skillset and providing the upmost service to my clients.
